Knowledge management for oil & gas operators

Your scattered oil & gas knowledge, working as one.

Your integrity records, traced to one answer cited to the page An isometric engineering drawing of a pipe spool: a pipe run, a bend, flanges, a gate valve and two supports. On the left, the kinds of record an oil and gas team works from: a regulation, an inspection report, a P&ID, a field photo, inline inspection data and an email. Lines from each converge on one girth weld on the bend. A red mark circles that weld and runs to the right, to one line on a single answer sheet, where a source chip marks the citation. What the engineer sees.

Inside the run

The checks are written rules an engineer can read.

The run is screened step by step against criteria your team can open, edit and export.

One stationing

Your run, aligned with what you already know about the line.

CP survey, depth of cover, HCA ranges, casings, crossings and earlier runs, on the same weld map.

The engineer decides. Calls traced to their sources.

A dig list with the reasoning behind each call, reviewed and signed off by your engineer.

Thirty minutes, nothing to prepare. We set it up on a slice of your own inspection reports, codes and records, and you see the citations before anyone signs anything.

Common questions

Straight answers.

Why not just point a general assistant at our folder?

Because it will answer. From the open web, from a superseded edition of the code, or from nothing at all, in the same confident tone it uses when it is right. In regulated work the question is not whether an answer sounds correct, it is which document it stands on and whether that document was in force on the date that matters. That is a property of the sources you approved, not of how the question was phrased.

Does our data stay on-prem and private?

Yes. Your records stay in your own tenant and we do not train models on them. For operators who cannot send records off-site at all, KnowledgeXpert runs air-gapped on your own hardware. SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, and the Trust Center is public.

Does KnowledgeXpert cover gas compliance under 49 CFR Part 192?

Yes. It answers over your own DIMP and TIMP records and procedures alongside the public Part 192 text, with every answer cited to your file and to the controlling clause. It does not replace your compliance judgment. It makes the record behind that judgment findable and defensible.

Does KnowledgeXpert work for midstream operators, not just pipeline integrity teams?

Yes. Midstream operations, integrity and maintenance records load into the same governed Knowledge Bases, and the same cited answers and agentic apps run over them. Start with one asset or one station and widen from there.
